As Autumn is fast approaching now is the ideal time to start to plan your Autumn bedding plants, new in this week we have Irish grown 1.5ltr Heather. Garden Mums (Chrysanthemums) are great for adding a splash of instant colour, water from beneath as these plants do not enjoy getting their heads wet!
For Geraniums that are still putting on a fantastic show in containers & baskets keep a watchful eye during windy spells and water accordingly.
The first delivery of the Spring Flowering bulb collection will be available in the Garden Pavilion, so it’s a great opportunity to head out into the garden and see where you want to add colour/ height in the garden from January – April.
Let’s not forget our feathered friends August is an important month to commence the winter feeding of our garden birds, check feeders and bird tables for any damage, top up your seed, suet & nut supplies with our extensive range of Bird supplies from Tom Chambers.
