Here’s how to create these mini vases:
  1. Carefully remove the top of an egg and remove the contents. Gently rinse the inside of the egg.
  2. Paint the shell; lavender and yellow are great Easter colours.
  3. To ensure that the egg has some stability place it in an egg cup and fill it with water (at room temperature).
  4. Lastly, fill the eggs with some lilac, violas and snowdrops!
These are a great addition to the Easter table or for brightening up a window in the kitchen or bathroom. To ensure that these flowers last, keep them away from direct heat and sunlight. Tulips and Daffodils in a Nest Nothing says Spring like Tulips and Birdsong. That’s why this beautiful nest filled with tulips will brighten up your home this Easter. b

Let’s get creative! This nest is made of Birch wrapped into a basket. Birch is ideal as it pliable so it's easy to bend them into the circular shape of a nest. And remember it is supposed to resemble a bird's nest so it doesn't need to be perfect! 1. Cut off the fine tips and cut the branches into varying lengths. It is good to have an idea of how big you want the nest to be. 6-8 inches in diameter is ideal. 2. You will need some wire and a wooden basket for this next stage. Secure the end of a branch to the base of the basket. Bend the branch along the basket's curve, wiring every 4 or 5 inches so that loose ends stick out. Repeat the remaining branches, overlapping them to conceal the basket. There is no need to be too particular to give it a realistic 'nest' look. 3. Remember to line the basket. 4. Place an oasis on the bottom and start rearranging your tulips and daffodils. Keep the oasis moist to ensure that your freshly cut flowers last longer.
